Tanja Schindler

Tanja Schindler is a passionate, international and award-winning Futurist for more than seven years and has international experience in foresight, innovation, leadership and strategy. She holds a double MBA/Master of Strategic Foresight with distinction from the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. Tanja also has a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering with a Major in Electrical Engineering.

Through her international application of foresight, she sees the world from various perspectives and enables others to deal with the future and its uncertainty. Her focus is to emphasize the advantages of a Futures Mindset. She supports companies, start-ups and freelancers in understanding Futures Thinking as a holistic, sustainable and goal-oriented organizational and life direction.

Former working for large German corporates in the industrial and lighting sector, she now supports organizations to transform their businesses successfully into the future while also leading and contributing to Foresight projects at UNESCO, the EU Commission and WFP.

Further, she is the founder and guardian of the global community Futures Space. There, she explores the future with members from all over the world to create future maps that identify opportunities and challenges to shape the future jointly. Since January 2021, she is also Vice-Chair of the board of directors of the Association of Professional Futurists.
